My husband and I did a last minute session with Amanda. She had found the absolute cutest amazing hidden gem (Mennonite owned/ran garden) right outside of Penn Yan, NY. It was about a 35 minute drive from my house here in the FLX. She was so nice, detailed orientated, and so much fun to work with. Her ability to capture little moments through her lens, that ended up being some of my favorite photos of my husband and I. I loved that she found her own place to bring clients too. Not many photographers in the area (in my opinion) drives around one day and comes across a place they want to do sessions at. I loved how unique this session was because of it. Not your basic let's take pictures down town / by the canal session. Amanda is a young adult, who loves what she does. I can't wait to do more sessions with her, including her shooting my mother's wedding next weekend! Thank you Amanda for doing this session with us. Amanda was super sweet instantly in our photo session. She made us feel comfortable and always made sure we were okay with her suggestions. It was a particularly cold day and Amanda split our session into 2 parts- one outfit braving the cold then a hot chocolate break, before doing the second part of the session with another outfit. She wanted us to feel comfortable throughout our entire session- asking what type of music we would like to listen to, suggesting poses for us, and having variety with backgrounds. Highly recommend!
